If you’re a search and rescue professional or looking for a career in emergency management, then this course could be for you. The Rescue and Emergency Management Foundation Degree, validated by the University of Plymouth, has been designed to allow work based learning towards a university level qualification in this important and highly valued field.

Current and budding team leaders will have the opportunity to learn or apply their experience to a number of specialist search and rescue techniques. Through a mix of practical and theoretical instruction, participants will learn the importance of multi-agency working and effective team management in emergency situations.

The course is totally flexible, so participants can choose to take individual modules or do the full foundation degree or higher national certificate for the complete picture on the role of a modern rescue professional.
